Sticky Garlic Chicken & Potatoes

Sticky Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 8 chicken legs or thighs
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 6 tbls brown sugar
  • 4 tsp olive oil

Preheat the oven to 220°C / 425°F. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and then sauté the garlic. Mix in the sugar with the garlic, and set to one side. Place the chicken into a shallow oven dish. Thoroughly cover the chicken with the garlic sugar mix, and bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until there is no pink inside the chicken. The top of the chicken will be crispy golden brown.

  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium red potatoes / 6 medium white potatoes
  • 4 tbls olive oil
  • 4 tbls brown sugar
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper

If you decide to use red potatoes, wash and chop those into bite-sized cubes. If white potatoes are your preference, then peel and chop into bite-sized cubes. Place the potatoes into a shallow baking dish. Add the oil, and coat the potatoes thoroughly. Add the crushed garlic, and thoroughly coat the potatoes with the garlic. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper, then bake for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender to the touch with a fork.
