SWV celebrates new album “I Missed Us” at Bar One in Atlanta
Some artist rarely see success past their first album, however with almost two decades in the music business…we’re “weak in the knees” all over again with SWV! Sisters With Voices has returned with their new album entitled “I Missed Us”. Coko, Taj and Lelee stopped by BarOne Atlanta on Friday night to celebrate their album release hosted by celebrity photographer Derek Blanks.
Chanita Foster was in attendance and looked great in a leapord spandex mini dress-hard to believe she has six kids!
LaTavia Roberson (Destiny’s Child), Comedian Rodney Perry, The Rude Boys, and Trina Braxton were also in attendance. Party goers’ jammed the entire night to classic old school SWV jams.
BarOne owner Peter Thomas, tries his hand at spinning records for guest while across the room SWV’s number one fan Eric, brought every album cover from the fifteen year span for the ladies to sign. If you haven’t picked up the new album you are truly missing out.
The album has that 90s throwback vibe and the rendition of Patti LaBelle’s “If Only You Knew” will definitely send chills down your spine. Their return to the industry will surely bring back the meaning of good music! Check out more pictures on our facebook page.
