After the success of Jay-Z’s and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne, both Lupe Fiasco and super producer Pharrell Williams wanted to create the same success by working together on a joint album. Originally a group called Child Rebel Soldiers (CRS) that also included Kanye, the pair decided to move forward without West according to Lupe’s website (www.lupefiasco.com).  Talks of the trio doing an album have been going on since 2007 and fans have been wondering what the delay is. During an interview with Rap-Up TV Lupe spoke about how the album was derailed due to the trio’s busy schedule. It seems as though Mr. West wouldn’t have the time anyway especially while touring and promoting Watch The Throne. Can a CRS album be a success without Mr. West?
