Keshia Knight Pulliam Hits the Streets to Support Obama 2012 Campaign

By Tastemaker — October 24, 2012

The last Presidential debate took place Monday night and now the final push to get voters out to the polls to vote is on!

Actress and budding philanthropist, Keisha Knight Pulliam, has been busy over the past few months by actively showing her support for the re-election of President Obama and encouraging voter registration.

Pulliam has made stops in Richmond, VA and Jacksonville, FL as a surrogate, by visiting colleges/universities, barbershops, beauty salons and practically anywhere students and constituents would listen about the importance of registering to vote, and exercerising their right to do so.

Pulliam also appears in a new PSA for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, where she once again urges people to get out and exercise their right to vote. In addition to the PSA, Knight spoke on a Planned Parenthood panel during the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC.

This summer we saw pictures of Knight in Africa with Tastemakers, Kita Williams, Monyetta Shaw, Margo Hampton and others making a difference in the lives of children who are less fortunate, not to mention Knight’s recognition this year by Cool Girls, Inc. for being a role model.  We love how Knight is not only pursuing her career but taking time out to address issues that affect our communities as well as our world. Kudos.
