Jenny McCarthy is bringing her shockingly funny antics to VH1.
McCarthy will entertain viewers by poking fun at hot topics and popular culture with a panel of celebrity guests, on her upcoming TV series The Jenny McCarthy Show.
The ex-playboy bunny went from Playmate of the Year to comedienne seemingly overnight, but she is definitely not a newbie in the entertainment industry. McCarthy began appearing in film and television roles back in 1995 with ever growing success.
Comedy aside, McCarthy is more than a pretty face. She has written several books about parenting and is an activist, warning that certain vaccines cause autism.
Her blonde-bombshell appearance is in stark contrast to her comedy skits, which focus mainly on toilet humor and faux pas.
The gorgeous comedienne definitely uses her image and sex appeal to lure you into a false state adoration before you are appalled by what comes out of her mouth two seconds later. She’s definitely a hard act to follow.
It shouldn’t shock you too much to know that she’s the cousin of Melissa McCarthy, of the 2011 hit comedy Bridesmaids. I guess comedy runs in the family.
The Jenny McCarthy Show is set to premiere on VH1 in the summer/fall of 2012, so be sure to mark it down on your calendars. Trust me, you don’t want miss out!
