I less than an hour we’ll be celebrating with Kim Tumey, known as celebrity broker for negotiating deals, movie roles and other assignment for celebrities, at her Bridal Shower Roast hosted by client Vivica Fox at Acustic Jazz. According to Tumey the Roast is an opportunity to laugh. “I love to laugh and I love my supporters! So, being that my Groom [Robert Davis] agreed to assist me in having an untraditional wedding, I wanted to bring together my closet friends, family and celebrity to party and crack on me!”

We managed to ask Tumey 5 questions we had know about the kickoff of this weekends events; that is said to host 300 guests and celebrity friends.

TastemakerMag: Your wedding is certainly one of the most unusual weddings of the season in Atlanta, but also one of the most talked about. Why did you decide to treat your wedding like one of your signature industry events?

Kim Tumey: So, I’ve heard, lol! I like being me which is different. Because I get bored very easily!”

TastemakerMag: What’s one of the wildest things guest can expect to encounter during this two day event?

Kim Tumey: What other wedding have you been to where you have to play musical chairs to get the garter belt? Lol

TastemakerMag: You’re known for working hard-edged negotiations for your celebrity clients what was the most difficult deal you had to broker for your own wedding?

Kim Tumey: Negotiating a husband! I didnt have to broker anything for my wedding. People just kept coming to me…There are so many sponsors! I am just grateful for everything everyone is doing.

TastemakerMag: What will your wedding day hair+beauty regimen be?

Kim Tumey: Well, my make-up will be natural with a pop of what I call dark Diva,lol! A smokey eye and my hair will be an interchangeable weave cap  provided by The Weave Shop located here in Atlanta. I can’t wait!
