Now I’ve heard of matching your shirt with your shoes, but matching your hair color with the good green earth may be a bit too much. And with long wavy green tresses, rapper Azealia Banks is either channeling a tree or a mermaid.

Banks is one of a growing trend of celebrities who are changing hair color and rocking colored locks. The rapper was spotted with green tresses on Wednesday at Thierry Mugler’s runway show during Paris Fashion Week.

And there’s no shortage of celebrities doing the same by dyeing their hair bright, bold colors. Just this week on XFactor, Demi Lovato sported pink streaks of hair color and even Brittany Spears hair was colorfully tinged as she made her rounds in America’s cities.
